Thanks for sharing, Melissa. I enjoy doing these kind of mental exercises.

One thing that I like to write in my notebook is the highlight of the day for each week of the month, in one short sentence.

This helps me have a bird's eye view of the most important moments of my week and month.

At the end of each year, I draw a timeline of the year and copy the most impactful events there.

This way I can appreciate more all the things I’ve accomplished and the events that impacted my life.

WOW, I LOVE this! I love to ponder back on my ‘highlights’. I would love to steal your idea!

Well, you are more than welcome to steal it. I stole it myself from bullet journaling. 😅

Ah, Marie Forleo👉🏽Ms. Everything is Figureoutable! I've heard good things about The Copy Cure. Big hugs to you re: Janigo! 💙 That polenta looks incredible ... is it from the Caroline Chambers cookbook?? You're not wrong-libraries are the dreamiest! I love your idea of trying before buying for cookbooks at the library. I'm mad I never thought of doing that before! Do you have any favorite walking gear/brands? I try to walk 10,000 steps a day.

Marie’s programs are outstanding! Thank you - missing Janigo… The polenta was just a mash-up of some things I had on hand and it turned out amazing! I must cook it again and write up a recipe next time. On gear - no special brand. I bought a 12 pound rucking vest on Amazon.

Yes! I’d love to see that recipe. 😍 Mash-up nights can seriously be the best! One night while drinking with friends, the late-night munchies hit hard and nothing was open for delivery. So, our friend rummaged through our fridge, grabbed leftover homemade ranch mashed potatoes, fried them into patties, melted cheese on top, and added bacon. To this day, I STILL make them. Necessity really is the mother of invention!

I love that you use the library and seem to enjoy a library trip as much as I do. Unfortunately, neither of these books are available at my library, but I think I must have the Caroline Chambers book. One of my favorites for quick, easy, healthy, and delicious recipes is Megan Gilmore The Detoxinista. She has 3 cookbooks, and her website is loaded with recipes. She's my go to for recipes. She rigorously tests them before she publishes them so I can have confidence they'll taste good and turn out well. Thanks for the cookbook tips.

One perk about my favorite library is that it is next to a lake, so after I grab my books I'll take a walk by the water. Thank you for the book rec - I will google her right now!
